Rangers fire manager Chris Woodward

Things just weren't working out for the Texas Rangers with Chris Woodward as manager. After the team spent big in the offseason, the hope was that the days of medicrity would be put behind them for 2022.

However, that hasn't been the case, with the team more than 10 games under .500 right now. No one expected that. Now, Woodward's days as manager of the club are over.

Texas firing Woodward really isn't much of a surprise. Plain and simple, this team hasn't played well and the fanbase has grown more and more impatient. We'll see who the team brings in next.
