Once again, two original six franchises will meet on Black Friday as the New York Rangers battle the Boston Bruins in the NHL Thanksgiving Showdown.

Puck drop will take place at 1:00 p.m. EST from TD Garden in Boston. The game will air nationally on NBC. Fans can also access the game through NBC Sports Live and the Reddit NHL Streams subreddit.
The Rangers have won three straight games, the first of which featured a comeback from four goals down in Montreal. Henrik Lundqvist stopped 67 of 71 shots in the last two victories over the Minnesota Wild and Carolina Hurricanes. In those two games, Artemi Panarin had a combined five points.

The defending Eastern Conference Champion Bruins have won five straight games and are tied with the Washington Capitals for the NHL's best record, with 39 points apiece. Tuukka Rask made 33 stops in a 2-1 win over the Ottawa Senators Wednesday, and made 36 saves in Boston's commanding 8-1 win in Montreal the previous night.

The Bruins won the only game between these teams so far this year, 7-4.
