Raptors Coach Nick Nurse Had Pathetic Response to Finding Out Kawhi Leonard Signed With Clippers
By Brendan Azoff

Toronto Raptors fans all over Canada were heartbroken by Kawhi Leonard's departure, a complete emotional 180 from when the Raptors won the NBA Finals just a month ago.
Apparently, Kawhi's departure was impactful to everyone besides Raptors head coach Nick Nurse, who merely shrugged it off when asked about the situation by Rachel Nichols.
Just ran into Raptors Coach Nick Nurse at Summer League - he told me he was watching a Prince impersonator at the Tropicana when the text came in about Kawhi choosing the Clippers. He said he read it, shrugged and figured he might as well stay & enjoy the rest of the show.

Really coach? Losing a star player like Leonard is a major setback for Nurse's team, one that most would think would cause a little more of an emotional reaction from the coach who has that player to thank for getting him his first NBA title.
Oh, and he was at a show watching a Prince impersonator? Seriously?

Watching a Prince impersonator sounds cool and all, but the reaction seems to be lacking the intensity that Raptors fans would like to have seen. Losing Leonard doesn't signify the end of the Raptors, but now Nurse is faced with the tough task of piecing together a team without a natural "superstar", something that is needed for most NBA teams to win a championship.
Times could be tough for the Raptors moving forward. Let's see how Nurse decides to handle things should they get rocky.
