Raptors Fans Already Showing Up at Jurassic Park More Than 2 Days Before Game 5
By Seth Carlson
There are a lot of dedicated fan bases within the NBA, but the Raptors may just have the most loyal supporters of them all. Just one win from a the franchise's first-ever NBA championship, the series is shifting back North. And Raptors fans are already lining up outside Scotiabank Arena's Jurassic Park for Game 5, a whole two days before tip-off.
With Game 5 not scheduled until Monday night, Raptors fans showed up to the arena earlier than my parents arrive at the airport before a flight.
We all saw the massive hoards of people awaiting entrance to Jurassic Park for Game 1, and by the looks of things, Game 5 will be no different, or perhaps even busier!
The Raptors can put an end to their franchise's championship drought with a win on Monday, but if they fail to do so, fans will still get another opportunity to support the team at Scotiabank Arena for the prospective Game 7. That game would be Sunday June 16 at 8:00 p.m. ET, if necessary.
For now, Raptors fans are fully focused on amping up the stadium for the pivotal Game 5, and if it means arriving a couple days early to build up the hype, then they're all for it!
