Ravens Release Kicker Who Bears Cut Ties With Last Week
By Michael Luciano

With Justin Tucker going nowhere for the foreseeable future, the Baltimore Ravens decided to cut bait with yet another kicker gunning for his spot.
After trading Kaare Vedvik to the Minnesota Vikings, the Ravens have also parted ways with Elliott Fry, who was signed after he lost the Chicago Bears kicking job to former Florida kicker Eddy Piñiero.
Ravens released K Elliott Fry, who made a 48-yard FG last night, per source. Fry would be a top option out there for teams needing a kicker.

Fry was a four-year starter in college at South Carolina, where he made 75% of his kicks and became the ninth-highest scorer in SEC history.
After bouncing around camps for a while, Fry signed with the now-defunct AAF, where he became the kicker for the best team in the league in the Orlando Apollos.
Fry was cut after going 2-for-2, one of which came from 48 yards, in Baltimore's final preseason game.
Following his 2-2 FG performance last night with a long of 48 yards, the Ravens have released #Gamecock alum Elliott Fry. Fry figures to be a top option for any team out there looking for a kicker. #VizorSZN ????

Teams like the Jets and Browns that still need a kicker could, and should, be the first in line for Fry in an attempt to solidify that unit.
