Rays Fire off Annoying Tweet After May 1 'Milestone' Without Baseball
By Brady Williams

We've officially reached May, and Major League Baseball is still not going to be back for a little while. That hasn't stopped some teams from being active on Twitter and boasting their "accomplishments" this season. On that note, the Tampa Bay Rays chimed in with a pretty eye roll-worthy tweet Friday morning.
They tweeted about how they've so far managed to cobble together an "undefeated season". *Sigh*
We've made it to May, and we're still undefeated.

They've achieved the same level of comedy as the guy who talks about not working since "last year" on New Year's Day. Get away from our water cooler, Rays, no one's laughing.
Some fans were quick to point out another major feat for the Rays that might not have been possible without a global pandemic.
And you’re not the lowest in attendance. Guess Stu will stay in Tampa!!

The tweet caught the ire of a few fans who just want baseball to be back. Celebrating the fact that baseball's been taken from us just isn't in the best interest of anyone.
That ain't funny, I'm past ready for baseball. Let's go to work.

Others expressed frustration with a bit more sarcasm.
Longest win streak in franchise history right?

Still, a few Rays fans were down to play along with the joke.

We all cope in our own way. We just aren't all as lame as the Rays about it.
