Rays Provide Solution for Fans Who Were Forced to Bail on Dream Wedding in Incredible Gesture

Tropicana Field is many things, but "romantic" very rarely comes up when discussing the home of the Tampa Bay Rays. That all changed early this morning, as Tampa Bay pulled off a pretty awesome gesture for diehard Rays fans Ashley and Ron.
The couple had to cancel their wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic, so their favorite baseball team stepped in to give the newlyweds a proper ceremony, complete with custom Rays jersey for both the bride and the groom.

If you've ruled out the traditional church or beach weddings, getting married at home plate at your favorite baseball team's stadium has to be a pretty solid alternative.
Even with social distancing protocols in place, the Rays will still able to bring everyone's family yo Tampa for the event. A nice touch from an organization that does a lot of things the right way on and off the field.
