Rays Troll MLB Network for Ice Cold Red Sox Take After Knocking Boston Out of Playoff Contention

Maybe you didn't think the Boston Red Sox would repeat as World Series champions coming into the 2019 season, but they had to make the playoffs, right?
Well, neither of those things are going to happen, as the Red Sox were eliminated from postseason contention Friday night, as the Tampa Bay Rays won in walk-off fashion.
This was a huge win for Tampa Bay, which has 91 wins and are in the thick of the Wild Card race. Their Twitter account was reveling in Boston's demise, and they decided to troll MLB Network in the process with this savage tweet:

Yeah, when will the Red Sox pass the Rays in the AL East standings? I guess we'll have to wait until 2020 for that statement to even be a possibility, as Boston will have an early end to their season.
Of course, the funny part about that segment on MLB Central was the fact it was early April. Why would that question even be asked that early in the season?

The Rays certainly had the last laugh here, but before they puff out their chest too much, they might want to lock up a Wild Card spot, as they are tied with the Cleveland Indians for the second WC.
