While some small market teams (or wannabe small market teams) may use budget restrictions as an excuse for trotting out some losing baseball, the Oakland Athletics and Tampa Bay Rays are squaring off in the AL Wild Card Game on Wednesday. Time to get set for all the action.

How to Live Stream A's vs Rays

First pitch is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET in Oakland. ESPN will nationally broadcast the game, with streaming available via the ESPN app and the Reddit MLB Streams subreddit.

Rays Lineup

The Rays are prioritizing offense on Wednesday night by starting Yandy Diaz at first base and rookie Mike Brosseau at second. Diaz was thought to be limited to hitting after coming back from a foot injury this weekend, but the Rays clearly wanted a righty-heavy lineup against a southpaw starter.

Charlie Morton gets the start for Tampa Bay. The former Astros World Series hero has a 1.57 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and .259 opponents slugging percentage in his last four starts against the A's.

A's Lineup

Oakland's lineup has been led by Marcus Semien, Matt Chapman, Matt Olson and Mark Canha all season long. However, the team desperately needs Jurickson Profar and Khris Davis to step up tonight if the A's have any chance at going far in the playoffs.

Lefty Sean Manaea takes the hill tonight for Oakland. Since returning from shoulder surgery, Manaea is 4-0 with a 1.21 ERA, 0.78 WHIP, with 30 strikeouts and seven walks in five starts.
