Rays Lineup
Austin Meadows leads things off for the Rays with young stars in Yandy Diaz and Nate Lowe to follow. Lowe owns a .929 slugging percentage over his last seven games. Travis d'Arnaud, who had a three-homer game in the series opener, bats seventh in the lineup.
Yonny Chirinos (8-4, 3.11 ERA) gets the start for Tampa Bay. He went seven innings and allowed only three earned runs in a start against the Yankees two weeks ago.
Yankees Lineup
The Bronx Bombers will look to guarantee a series split with DJ LeMahieu and Aaron Judge occupying the first two spots in the order. Edwin Encarnacion, who has three home runs in his last two games, bats cleanup with ice cold backstop Gary Sanchez on his heels, hoping to snap out of his summer slump.
Domingo German (11-2, 3.40 ERA) takes the mound for New York. He's gone six innings in back-to-back outings, allowing just 1 earned run. He'll hope to get some solid work in again tonight and keep the Bombers' bullpen fresh for Game 2.
