Reasons for Braves Pulling Mike Foltynewicz in Game Against Brewers Are Pretty Ridiculous
By Michael Luciano

In a 2-1 game against one of the best teams in baseball, the Atlanta Braves pulled starter Mike Foltynewicz in the sixth inning. Atlanta fell 3-2 as their bullpen failed to protect the tie game while Milwaukee's terrific unit barely broke a sweat.
What's even worse is Atlanta's justification for pulling Foltynewicz is either some horrendous pre-start management or an outright lie.
Folty said he didn’t eat much before today’s game. That, combined with the heat had him feeling a bit dizzy in his last at bat, which is why Snit pulled him after six innings. #Braves

Breakfast truly is the most imporant meal of the day, as going without it apparently forced Foltynewicz out of a close game against a contender.
Keep in mind, it was almost 90 degrees in Atlanta on Sunday. The fact that Foltynewicz failed to get some fuel before a start against Christian Yelich on a scorching day in Georgia is some spectacular incompetence on his part. That, of course, or the Braves aren't being truthful.
I’m gonna hope there’s an explanation for letting Foltynewicz hit and then not keeping him in the game.

Despite the Braves not having their mid-90s rotation, Arodys Vizcaino's injury has made their bullpen one of the more up and down units in the league, forcing them to rely on their starting pitching.
If Foltynewicz gave up three hits in six innings against one of the best top-to-bottom lineups in the league on an empty stomach, imagine what he would have done at 100 percent.
