Red Sox Entire Outfield Gets Nominated for Gold Gloves in Impressive Feat
By Adam Weinrib

With the Red Sox dynamic outfield on the verge of being broken up, let's sit down and have a drink with 'em one last time.
Mookie Betts, Andrew Benintendi and Jackie Bradley Jr. can all stake a claim to some hardware following the 2019 season, and all three men have officially made the list of nine American League outfield Gold Glove finalists, per the list released on Thursday afternoon.

Jackie Bradley Jr. has a chance to go back-to-back.
Mookie Betts has a chance to go back-to-back-to-back-to-back.
Oh, and in case that wasn't impressive enough, Boston got a fourth standout on the list, too, in catcher Christian Vazquez.
Vazquez and all three outfielders (Benintendi, Bradley and Betts) are Gold Glove finalists for the Red Sox. Winners to be announced on November 3.

If Betts wins (and he should), this'll be the 5-9 wizard's fourth consecutive honor. Blessed with unlimited range in right field (he could absolutely be a center fielder if pressed into duty), the kid's got it all, including a world-class hose that he showed off in impressive fashion in late September.

While no one knows what the future holds for this trio, with Betts subjected to a wild set of trade rumors and JBJ's arbitration increase possibly a bridge too far for this budget-conscious crew, we may never see all three of these folks in home whites at Fenway next season. But flags fly forever. Might as well make this a four-peat for Mookie.
