Red Sox Twitter Sent Out Perfect Picture Once MLB Season Became Official
By Max Smith
With the announcement of baseball's return on the horizon, fans can finally get excited for the 2020 MLB season. Players will report to their teams by July 1, with the season starting later that month.
And, in case you weren't hype enough already, the Red Sox tweeted out the perfect picture to get their fans ready for the season. The best stadium in America looks ready for baseball to return on July 24!
Though no fans will be allowed inside the stadium for a while, it will be great to have baseball back at Fenway.
While expectations for the Sox aren't high, anything is possible in a 60-game season. All it takes is a few winning streaks and they will have a shot at making the playoffs. Teams may be able to go with a four-man rotation, which could be huge for a squad with a flawed rotation like the Sox.
Regardless of the pitching situation, the Red Sox still have a ton of exciting bats to watch this summer. Rafael Devers is primed to have a huge season after a monster sophomore campaign last year. Andrew Benintendi, Xander Bogaerts, and J.D. Martinez are all extremely skilled hitters that make the Sox threatening every time they step up to bat.
We just simply can't wait to see baseball return to Fenway Park.
