The Boston Red Sox (62-56) have taken it to the Los Angeles Angels (56-61) in the first two games of this series, outscoring them 19-4. They still have a hill to climb, but Boston still has playoff hopes heading into Saturday's matchup.

Angels Lineup
Southpaw Andrew Heaney will get the start for Los Angeles, who in nine starts this season owns a 5.09 ERA with 54 strikeouts over 46 innings.
His last start came against Houston where he lasted just 4 1/3 innings and gave up two earned runs on nine hits and five strikeouts.
Red Sox Lineup
Despite belting his 24th home run of the season last night, third baseman Rafael Devers is not in the starting lineup and will get the day off. Michael Chavis will move over to the hot corner and bat sixth.
Left fielder Andrew Benintendi is also out of the lineup, with Sam Travis taking his spot and batting cleanup behind J.D. Martinez. Christian Vazquez, who is usually behind the plate, will get the start at first base and bat fifth. Sandy Leon will get the start behind the dish.
Right-hander Rick Porcello will take the mound for Boston. In 23 starts this season he's 10-8 with a 5.54 ERA and 104 strikeouts over 128.1 innings. It's been even worse lately, as he owns an 8.31 ERA over his last seven starts.
