Reds Pitcher Amir Garrett Fed up With His MLB The Show Rating and We Wouldn't Get in His Way
By Mark Powell
With the MLB season not set to resume for months, our only dose of baseball will come from the virtual world. With that in mind, several MLB players have taken their talents online, but not all of them are happy with what they've seen.
Reds pitcher Amir Garrett, for one, thinks he ought to have a higher rating than the game gives him credit for. Most of us would agree with him, for reasons beyond just his statistics.
The fine folks over at MLB The Show ought to take Garrett at his word, and be thankful for the fact that they're in quarantine.
For those unfamiliar, Garrett has a history of, well, not taking kindly to constructive criticism.
This man is an absolute beast, and he's not afraid to throw hands when necessary. While we don't think he'd do so over a video game rating, who are we to draw the line?
Garrett's 3.21 ERA in 2019 suggests he was given an unfair mark, as well. But for the love of God, make a quick change in the next update, please.
