Reds Infielder Silences Braves After Tucker Barnhart's Clutch Dinger
By Parker White
The Atlanta Braves had a roaring comeback this afternoon, spearheaded by Ronald Acuña Jr.'s game-tying two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning. However, it was the Cincinnati Reds who had the last laugh, as catcher Tucker Barnhart ended up launching a game-winning three-run homer in the top of the 10th inning.
The celebrating of this impressive win by Cincinnati continued, as Reds infielder Kyle Farmer wanted to give his teammate a shout out for his clutch long ball. He got this tweet up quick.
We get it, Kyle. Are you really surprised they put a spotlight on Acuña, who is one of the top young players in the game?
Barnhart and the entire Reds team don't get a lot of love nationally unless they have epic fights with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Reach the .500 mark before you plan these quips next time, perhaps.
Props for speed, though.
