Reds Reportedly Agree to Multi-Year Deal With Free Agent OF Nicholas Castellanos

There's nothing better than stealing from a rival, while also drastically improving your roster. Just ask the Cincinnati Reds about that.
Former Chicago Cubs slugger Nick Castellanos hit free agency after turning heads in the Windy City, but now he's Cincy-bound. Castellanos has reportedly agreed to a multi-year deal with the Reds.
Although the 27-year-old was stellar for the Cubs in the second half of their season, hitting .321 with 21 doubles, 36 RBI and 16 home runs, the Cubs simply weren't in a spot to match what others were ready to put on the table.
Per MLB insider Jon Heyman, Castellanos' deal is a monster one.
The outfielder will no doubt improve the Reds hopes of entering the upper-tier of the NL, but also adds to the clutter of outfielders on the roster already with Jesse Winker, Nick Senzel, Aristides Aquino and, of course, new signing Shogo Akiyama.
Castellanos joins Mike Moustakas and Wade Miley as big-name offseason acquisitions for Cincinnati, a team now looking even more ready to make a big move for the division title.
