The Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds are both a day removed from series-ending losses against their previous opponents, and will each look to get back in the win column on Friday at Wrigley Field.
How to Live Stream Reds vs Cubs
The game gets underway at 2:20 PM ET and can be seen on Fox Sports Ohio and NBC Sports Chicago in the local markets. MLB Network will have the game for out-of-market viewers. Live streams are also available on Reddit's MLB streams subreddit.
Reds Lineup
Yasiel Puig will make his return Friday after being out with a shoulder sprain since injuring it while making a catch last Sunday against the Dodgers. He's batting fifth, behind Jesse Winker and Eugenio Suarez. Top prospect Nick Senzel is in center field and leading off, while Joey Votto bats second.
Anthony DeSclafani will pitch Friday for Cincinnati. His most recent appearance was on May 17 against the Dodgers, when he went 4 innings and allowed 6 hits and 4 earned runs. The Reds had won the last five games when he started before the Los Angeles game, so it should be interesting to see if the right-hander can steal a win against the NL Central leaders.
Cubs Lineup
Leading off for Chicago is left fielder Kyle Schwarber, with Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo following him up. Javy Báez hits cleanup with Jason Heyward in right field and batting fifth.
Kyle Hendricks takes the hill for the Cubs, and he's been sensational in the month of May. He's looking to build off his 3-0 record with 1.47 ERA and 21 strikeouts over the past month, and with the way he's been throwing, it'll be hard for Reds hitters to get after him.
Interestingly, the Reds are the only team to beat the Cubs in a series since the Chicago fell to a 2-7 start back in early April. The Reds will look to try and begin to climb out of last place in the NL Central, while the Cubs look to tighten their grip at the top of the division.
