In an NL Central division where no team is further than 5.5 games apart in the standings, every contest matters. Coming off a 6-3 victory against the Chicago Cubs on Monday, the last-place Cincinnati Reds hope to continue their climb up the standings on Tuesday.
How to Live Stream the Game
First pitch is scheduled for 8:05 p.m. ET at Wrigley Field in Chicago. The matchup will be televised on Fox Sports Ohio and WGN, with live streams available via the MLB Streams subreddit.
Reds Lineup
Jesse Winker leads off for the away team, with Joey Votto and Eugenio Suarez following. Yasiel Puig hits cleanup, looking to continue his hot summer. Derek Dietrich and Nick Senzel hit fifth and sixth respectively.
Anthony DeSclafani will toe the rubber for the Reds, coming off a nice outing in which he surrendered two runs across six innings. The right-hander is 4-3 against Chicago with a 3.84 ERA in 11 starts. A key for the Reds will be limiting Kris Bryant, who is hitting .350 with a home run and 4 RBI against DeSclafani.
Cubs Lineup
The Cubs stick to their usual suspects atop the order, with Kyle Schwarber leading off, followed by Javy Baez, Bryant and Anthony Rizzo. Robel Garcia hits fifth, ahead of Jason Heyward and Albert Almora Jr. Recently acquired catcher Martin Maldonado hits eighth as Willson Contreras was placed on the IL.
Right-handed pitcher Alec Mills will make his first major league start of 2019 on Tuesday in place of the injured Cole Hamels. In seven appearances last season, Mills was 0-1 with a 4.00 ERA.
