Refs Are Already Blowing it Mere Seconds Into Saints-Vikings
By Jerry Trotta

We weren't even a minute into the Saints-Vikings matchups and the zebras are already snatching headlines.
On a 2nd-and-1, Janoris Jenkins forced a clear-as-day fumble on Adam Thielen. The referees, as they normally do with bang-bang turnovers, went to replay review. While that wasn't necessarily a poor settlement, how long it took to confirm the fumble was an utter farce.

Folks, Thielen was literally in mid-air when the ball was forced out of his grasp. A review that should've lasted less than 30 seconds, took several minutes.
That, unfortunately, wasn't the officials' only blunder on the play. The Vikings committed a blatant false start, which means that the play (and turnover) never should have ensued.
Saints fan is mad the refs didn’t call a false start and negate a play the Vikings turned the ball over on #MINvsNO pic.twitter.com/yoLEXSlWLV

And then came this!

That eventually forced the Vikings to punt.
If this is a sign of things to come, NFL fans are in for a LONG afternoon. We can only hope and pray that the fellas in black and white clean it up.
