Looks like shoddy officiating isn't just plaguing the NFL, but also the NBA. Thursday night featured a pivotal Eastern Conference matchup between the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics. With Philly holding a 112-109 lead with less than 30 seconds remaining in regulation, Celtics forward Jaylen Brown was clearly fouled by Josh Richardson, as he ran into his back and knocked him to the hardwood. Instead, the refs didn't blow the whistle, and gave the 76ers possession of the ball.

Huh? Richardson clearly fouled Brown. In fact, he looked like a NFL cornerback climbing over the back of a wide receiver to break up a pass.

Yet, the on-court officials opted against it, and since the ball was last touched by Jayson Tatum, the 76ers got the ball.

What a brutal non-call which virtually ended any chance of a comeback for the Boston Celtics. Boston's coaching staff and players will only feel angrier once they catch this replay.
