Reggie Miller Doubles Down on Belief That Zion Williamson Won't Play Until Next Season

With the timetable for Zion Williamson's return from injury constantly getting pushed back, many experts are questioning if the rookie sensation will even play at all this season.
One of those skeptics is former NBA All-Star Reggie Miller, who tweeted on Wednesday, telling fans not to get their hopes up on the first overall pick suiting up for the Pelicans anytime soon. He's doubling down.
I’ve BEEN SAYING THIS.. I said this November 21 during the Pelicans vs Suns game, only to be told by David Griffin the President of the Pels at Halftime “No No No, Zion will DEFINITELY be back mid December”, fast forward to December 3rd Mavs vs Pels I double downed and said again pic.twitter.com/9GJmJH92c4

Miller had very reasonable evidence for this claim, considering reports now are stating we'll see him in 2020 at the earliest ... if at all this particular season.

Williamson had knee surgery right before the regular season began. This brought up concerns about his size and whether it'll impact his long-term healthy. His play is very aggressive for someone his height and weight.

While NBA fans were hoping to see arguably the most transcendent talent since LeBron James take the court for the first time this year, Reggie Miller is putting bad energy out there suggesting otherwise.
