Released Packers RB Kapri Bibbs' NFL Suspension Suggests Team Knew Something Was Wrong
By Ian Anderson

It doesn't make it a shady dealing. But now that the NFL has suspended free agent running back Kapri Bibbs one week for reasons seemingly unknown, it is likely that his former Green Bay Packers had an idea of what was to come, necessitating his release from the team. This comes courtesy of Packers insider Rob Demovsky.
Former Packers RB Kapri Bibbs, who was released over the summer, has been suspended one week by the NFL, a source said. His released seemed to come out of left field at the time but perhaps the Packers knew there was an issue. https://t.co/yKqjiVs12a

If the 26-year-old Colorado State product does find his way onto another NFL roster, he would be forced to sit out one game. The suspension will not be applied until he is on an active roster.
Bibbs was unexpectedly cut by Green Bay during their OTAs in June. While at the time this was a surprising move to many, this recent suspension handed to the running back could suggest that the Packers knew something that was not known by many.
The NFL journeyman had played for the Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49ers, Washington Redskins before making his way to Green Bay in December of last year. Does this recent suspension signal the end of Bibbs' NFL career or will another team give him a shot? In any event, any return will come with a brief delay.
