Antonio Brown Reportedly Rejected $2 Million Settlement With Accuser Britney Taylor
By Sean Facey

Antonio Brown apparently had a chance to settle things out of court with Britney Taylor, the woman who has accused him of sexual assault in a civil lawsuit.
According to ESPN's Jeff Darlington, the two reportedly worked towards a $2 million settlement starting back in April, but Brown ultimately rejected the offer, refusing to sign it by last Sunday's appointed deadline.
Antonio Brown entered into settlement discussions in April, which included mediation in May, culminating in a deadline last Sunday night to sign a monetary agreement that would end the sexual assault claims against him. He chose not to sign it.

Brown and Taylor even reportedly met twice for mediation in May, but a settlement ultimately never materialized.
Taylor, whose suit against Brown was revealed soon after he signed with the New England Patriots, alleges that the superstar wide receiver sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions back in 2017 and 2018 while she was serving as his trainer.
For his part, Brown has vehemently denied the charges against him. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, has stood by him the whole way through, calling Taylor's allegations a "money grab."
Drew Rosenhaus goes on to say: "I'll repeat this. This is a money grab. I believe this: this is a money grab."

Brown denies all allegations and will cooperate with the investigation. https://t.co/0hrjL6tQp8
The facts of the case, of course, still remain to be seen in full. Taylor is expected to meet with NFL investigators as they try to separate truth from fiction.
Clearly, there's still plenty to be unearthed about this relationship. How the league handles things from here, especially in the wake of reports of this aborted settlement, will be worth following extremely closely.
