Rich Paul and LeBron James Just Began a Conquest of Baseball While Nobody Was Looking
By Scott Rogust

Ever since entering the NBA in 2003, LeBron James has steadily developed a sports business empire that extends in multiple directions. From his terrific play to his nonstop media attention off the court, LBJ is everywhere. So, it should come as no shock that James and his agent and business partner, Rich Paul, are expanding into the baseball world.
Klutch Sports, the agency that Paul founded and that counts LeBron among its clients, has now acquired Tidal Sports Group to serve as its baseball arm. In turn, Paul will now represent MLB stars like Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman and New York Mets pitcher Marcus Stroman.

Tidal Sports Group was first launched by agent Brodie Scoffield back in 2018 after he left his previous employer, TDA Worldwide. While Tidal's clients are alreay of a high profile, they can't measure up to the behemoths like Boras Corporation and CAA Baseball.
Joining up with Klutch helps them do just that -- and brings Paul and LeBron one step closer to taking over this whole baseball thing.

Paul is known for his ability to make his clients into stars through branding. Notably, that's something that Major League Baseball struggles in: marketing their best and brightest as mainstream superstars . Now, Paul will have a chance to do that job for them.
And it's only the beginning. You've been warned!
