VIDEO: Richard Jefferson Has Amazing Comeback After Fan Asks Him to Say Hi to His Wife
By Scott Rogust
Even in retirement, professional sports figures are far from immune to letting fans into the conversation. Some choose to ignore the hecklers, but others will clap back at them. On Wednesday, former NBA player Richard Jefferson did just that, with a perfect prepared remark. While standing in the tunnel during the Brooklyn Nets-Memphis Grizzlies game, Jefferson was asked by a fan standing high above him to say hi to his wife. That is when RJ gave the most vicious comeback of all time.
Imagine being the individual asking for that favor, only for Jefferson to say that he'll text your wife? How do you even recover from such a brutal verbal jab? You can't.
Although, he did send out his respects to the fan for being a good sport about it.
Jefferson has been known to be outspoken ever since hanging up his basketball kicks for a career in sports media. Let's never forget the time when he trolled the New York Knicks by saying that since they were the only team to offer him a contract, he had no choice but to retire. And that's just one of many countless troll jobs by RJ.
This article serves as a warning. If you mess with Jefferson, he will ruin your whole career and life in a matter of seconds.
