Richard Sherman and ProFootballTalk Get in Twitter Feud About Agents After Bobby Wagner's Deal
By Karl Rasmussen

Bobby Wagner signed a three-year extension with the Seattle Seahawks, worth $54 million, with $40.2 million in guaranteed money. The star linebacker negotiated the deal sans agent, making the haul all the more impressive.
Former teammate Richard Sherman congratulated his teammate on Twitter, responding to a tweet from ProFootballTalk. The two sides got into a debate regarding the necessity and effectiveness of agents in the NFL, with both parties raising decent arguments.
He repped himself too @ProFootballTalk hmmmmm ???? https://t.co/oNp1nU7o8V

Sherman initiated the beef by responding to the post on Twitter, seemingly calling out ProFootballTalk for being pro-agents.
There have been agents that have been horrible for players but hey let’s act like they are all brilliant

Sherman has not been shy in the past on his distaste for the way some agents have poorly handled players' contracts in the past. Wagner negotiating his own deal shows that an agent isn't always necessary, but he's an experienced veteran who had sizable leverage in negotiations with the Seahawks considering his talent.
Hahaha oooooohhhh now it’s on the union.....lol... I got it.... so those bad contracts are because the union didn’t “get rid of the bad ones?” Lol got it

After PFT tried to dump the blame for bad contracts on the union's failure to weed out horrible agents, Sherman scoffed at the weak argument.
The 49ers cornerback raised some sound points in the feud, and his final comment seem to have capped off the debate.
