Richard Sherman Destroys Darrelle Revis on Twitter After Retired DB Went After Him During NFC Championship Game
Darrelle Revis posted some of the best seasons ever by a defensive back during his heyday.
He is now spending his time at home enjoying the games on TV...well, mostly enjoying them. Apparently, he was enraged enough by an old enemy to take an odd shot at San Francisco 49ers corner Richard Sherman after the veteran got beat a singular time against the Green Bay Packers.
This is a bizarre tweet from Revis. Sherman got turned around for a split second, and a perfect throw from Aaron Rodgers was the Packers' one big play of the game. That could happen to any corner, so clearly Revis was waiting for the perfect chance to share his agenda on Sherman from the comfort of his faraway chair, aimed at a small-ish television on a plain white wall.
Luckily, Sherman dusted himself off following San Fran's 37-20 win and had a RESPONSE READY, to say the least.
OOF. That VIEW from the COUCH!
Sherman is an outspoken player, but he has put up the results to back it up. Revis is either insecure in his own legacy, or just doesn't like Sherman.
Sherman is preparing for a Super Bowl while Revis is sitting at home. That should be enough motivation for the 49ers corner to just laugh at yet more disrespect thrown his way.
