Rob Gronkowski Claims He 'Fixed' His Possible CTE Symptoms in Twitter Exchange With Medical Expert
By Chris Pyo
Let's just say that it'll be a while before Rob Gronkowski successfully receives any sort of medical degree.
In an exchange on Twitter, the former New England Patriots tight end claimed that he had "fixed" his possible CTE symptoms.
Hold your horses there, Gronk. That's a pretty radical claim to be making, especially in this scientific day and age.
Just this week, the sports world was saddened when Gronkowski revealed the specific details of the injuries he had suffered during his career, including close to 20 concussions. This definitely affected his willpower and desire to play football, similarly to what Andrew Luck recently went through.
Now, however, Gronkowski's claiming that he fixed "his" CTE? Was he ever diagnosed? And he's making this claim a mere six months after he announced his retirement? That's a tough one to believe. He didn't even specify how exactly he had cured or at least handled his alleged CTE symptoms.
Is this just another twist to the comeback of Rob Gronkowski? This tweet definitely solidifies the sentiments of people who think he still has a couple of footballing years ahead of him.
A lot of stuff to digest here, that's for sure.
