VIDEO: Rob Gronkowski Leaves Door Open for Possible Return to NFL on Andy Cohen Show
By Thomas Carannante
Fire up the Rob Gronkowski trade rumors again, folks. The former New England Patriots tight end is going to be trending big time after he appeared on Andy Cohen's show on Tuesday. Gronk answered some questions ranging from his retirement to showing up to practice hungover, but perhaps the biggest takeaway from the interview was the former All-Pro player not closing the door on a return to the NFL.
With Tom Brady now in Tampa Bay and Gronk having a full year to give his body some rest, could we see the two reunite? Of course that would require the Patriots trading Gronk to the Bucs, but it's clear his chapter in New England is done. If Bill Belichick is faced with keeping Gronk retired or getting value for him, he'll probably opt to get some value via draft capital.
Of course, it didn't take long for this interview to devolve into hilarity. Gronk was talking about his private parts just a few minutes later.
So how seriously can we take his possible return to the NFL? We're not sure, but as long as there's a sliver of hope, fans will be wanting to hear every possible scenario surrounding the future Hall of Fame tight end.
