Anybody else out there think that Tom Brady's departure from the New England Patriots is affecting owner Robert Kraft more than it is head coach Bill Belichick?

The former, who considers Brady a son, has offered up several touching statements in the wake of the 42-year-old's shocking move to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As expected, that didn't mark the end of Kraft's gestures and tributes to Brady.

Kraft bought a full-page ad in the Tampa Bay Times thanking TB12 for his 20-year tenure in Foxborough. The headline reads "THANK YOU TOM," in all caps.

“For 20 amazing years, you gave us everything you had," read Kraft's ad. "When you arrived as a sixth-round pick -- and the best selection this franchise has ever made -- no one imagined all you’d accomplish or how much you’d soon mean to an entire region. Thank you, Tom for your countless contributions to the New England Patriots, and we wish you and your beautiful family continued success. To the Buccaneers fans and Tampa Bay community — take care of him. You got a great one.”

That's truly an amazing gesture from Kraft. Of course, it comes after the 78-year-old owner had billboards hung across Norfolk County to pay tribute to Brady.

Billboards and ads in newspaper are just the beginning of what is sure to be an extended outpouring of love and gratitude for Brady. Recent events have confirmed that Kraft is going to lead that campaign, and rightfully so.
