Robert Kraft Moving to Keep Public From Ever Seeing Spa Footage Following Court Ruling

In a move that should have all of us thrilled, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is now motioning in court to have the much-discussed surveillance footage that allegedly places him at the Orchids of Asia Spa kept under wraps and away from public consumption for good. This comes on the heels of the judge in his solicitation case ruling the video evidence inadmissible at trial.

The judge recently ruled that the allegedly explicit video cannot be used as evidence against Kraft due to being obtained illegally. This has presented the Patriots owner with the opportunity to one day act as if the surveillance recordings may as well have never existed, practically speaking.

To be honest, it does make some sense. Why should the video be released to media outlets if it has absolutely nothing to do with the trial? If the video can't be used against Kraft in court, it shouldn't be used against him by the public either. Right? All releasing the video would do is embarrass Kraft further; at this point, considering he's still facing a criminal trial, it's surely best to leave this one up to a jury of his peers.

This is also a huge favor to any sane person who doesn't want to see a possibly disgusting video (thought that characterization is merely speculative at this point). In so many ways, keeping these tapes under wraps may be the best possible outcome for all involved.
