By Jerry Trotta

The only thing missing from the fallout of Brandon Taubman's disgraceful support of Roberto Osuna, which he hollered in the direction of a group of female reporters in the Astros clubhouse, well, is some feedback from Houston's closer himself.
Taubman has since been terminated, and general manager Jeff Luhnow has somehow managed to botch each of his subsequent statements and apologies.
Well, shortly the Astros Game 3 win over the Nationals on Friday night, Osuna spoke to USA TODAY Sports and disclosed that he wasn't even present for Taubman's disturbing outburst.

“I didn’t say anything,’’ said Osuna. “I wasn’t there. I don’t know what really happened that night. All I know is I got involved in something that I didn’t have anything to do with. It kind of sucks. But it is what it is, right?’’
Osuna, who was notoriously suspended 75 games while a member of the Blue Jays for violating MLB's domestic violence policy, then went on to describe the hostile environment on Nationals Park on Friday night, where he was met with an outpouring of jeers upon entering the game in the ninth inning.
“I was ready for it, I really was, just because of everything that happened,’’ the former All-Star continued. “But I wasn’t going to let it affect me. I just wanted to do my job.’’

You can only expect the boos to continue for Osuna the rest of the series. Washington currently holds a 2-1 lead in the 2019 World Series.
