The Houston Rockets are the favorites to land Carroll.
On the year, Carroll has featured in just 15 games, averaging 2.2 points, 2.1 rebounds. He struggled from the field in his limited minutes, knocking down just 31.8% of his field goal attempts.
Prior to heading to San Antonio and seeing reduced minutes, Carroll had carved out a solid role for himself with the Nets. Across two seasons in Brooklyn, Carroll averaged 12.3 points and 5.9 rebounds while draining 35.8% of his 3-point attempts.

The Rockets could be interested in picking up the 3-and-D specialist in hopes he returns to his past form.
Currently sitting in fifth place in the West at 34-20, the Rockets will be hoping to trudge forth into the top half of the standings during the post-All-Star push.
