After winning their third consecutive World Series game, the Houston Astros announced that the first pitch of Game 6 will be thrown out by a pair of Hall of Famers.

No, not Nolan Ryan and Craig Biggio.

We're talking about center Hakeem Olajuwon and guard Clyde Drexler, who will be behind the plate catching Olajuwon's pitch.

Olajuwon spent 17 out of his 18 seasons in the NBA with the Houston Rockets, winning two championships with them before spending the final season of his illustrious career with the Toronto Raptors. Olajuwon was a member of the 2008 class of Basketball Hall of Fame inductees.

Drexler, on the other hand, only spent four seasons with Houston, but helped them repeat as NBA champions in the 1994-95 NBA season. The other 12 seasons of his career were spent in Portland as a Trail Blazer, prior to joining the Rockets in 1994. Drexler was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2004.

Olajuwon and Drexler have a tough act to follow, as the last person to throw out a first pitch in Houston was Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles, who displayed her acrobatic skills with an amazing back flip before the pitch.

Despite falling behind 2-0 in the series to the Washington Nationals, the Astros have stormed back with three consecutive convincing wins over the National League's representative, and a win in Game 6 would seal the club's second World Series win in the past three seasons. Prior to this recent run of Astros dominance, however, Olajuwon and Drexler were the most recent stars to deliver H-Town a title, so this is only fitting as the 'Stros go for No. 2.

Game 6 of the World Series will commence at 8:07 pm EST on Tuesday, and can be viewed on FOX.
