Never Forget the Rockies Completed One of the Greatest MLB Twitter Feats Ever in 2018

Professional baseball teams are recognized for their play on the diamond and on social media. MLB teams have an engagement edge over other leagues due to a typical 162-game slate.
The Colorado Rockies are one team in particular that pulled off a stellar feat in 2018. That was the year when whoever was running the Twitter account decided to make a burner profile and spell out all the lyrics to "Boys of Summer" in the replies of other MLB teams. See for yourself.
Great job, many of you found it!

Pumped we completed “The Boys of Summer” without anyone catching wind of the shenanigans. ?
We made this video to show every tweet we replied to—in reverse order—with bad stock music because we don’t have rights to the song. Enjoy! pic.twitter.com/CHmh37qFrO
The Rockies gave the project the perfect name of "Biggest Waste of Time Ever Burner Account Project." There is no real reason why anyone would have called out a random burner account for snippets of song lyrics, but the world of Twitter is a bizarre one and the Rockies can stake claim to pulling off this super specific accomplishment.
wE made a burNer account.

Props to the Rockies? Sure, why not. This was certainly creative and revisiting the feat may cause other MLB teams to pull off some unique projects while we all wait for baseball in 2020.
