Rockies vs Cubs MLB Live Stream Reddit for Second Game of Series

The Colorado Rockies (37-28) and Chicago Cubs (34-31) will face off in the second game of a three-game set at Coors Field. After a key eighth-inning double from Daniel Murphy last night, Colorado was able to lock down the door in the ninth for a 6-5 win. The Cubs will look to even the series up Tuesday.

Cubs Lineup

It was a homecoming for Carlos Gonzalez Monday night as he took the field in Colorado for the first time since he left the Rockies. He's out of the lineup for Tuesday's clash.

Kyle Schwarber is leading off, with Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo batting next in the order. Javy Báez is in the cleanup spot, with Willson Contreras behind home plate and batting fifth. The order is rounded up by Jason Heyward, Addison Russell, pitcher José Quintana and Albert Almora Jr.

Pitching for the Cubs will be lefty Jose Quintana. The southpaw is 4-5 with an ERA of 3.77. Quintana took a loss last time out against the Rockies on Thursday.

Rockies Lineup

The Rockies offense scored six runs Monday night over the Cubs thanks to Nolan Arenado and Charlie Blackmon. However, the most important hit was a RBI double from Daniel Murphy in the bottom of the eighth that brought home the go ahead run for Colorado. The Rockies offense will hope to slug their way to take a 2-0 series lead over Chicago tonight.

Blackmon is leading off, with the dangerous trio of Trevor Story, David Dahl and Nolan Arenado following suit. Daniel Murphy bats fifth, ahead of Ian Desmond, Ryan McMahon and Chris Ianetta.

Pitching for Colorado will be right-hander Peter Lambert. He made his big league debut last time out and he certainly opened some eyes. He held the Cubs to 1 run on 4 hits in 7 innings of work, mowing down 9 batters in the process.
