Roger Clemens is an MLB legend who pitched over 20 years with numerous MLB teams, and even dabbled in independent baseball at the age of 49. He always seemed to have the answer in the biggest moments, and was consistently one of the best pitchers in baseball because of that charisma he carried on the mound.

However, his toughest test may not even be from his playing days. His son, Kody Clemens, is a top rated prospect with the Detroit Tigers, and is attempting to show the organization that he belongs in their future plans. Naturally, some stress and anxiety comes with that, and how Roger has helped his son deal with that shows he may be more successful as a father than an MLB player.

Often times, it's just the reassurance that someone belongs that is sought out in times of uncertainty. Especially when your dad was an MLB legend, the big leagues can feel like a stage that is too bright. Roger telling Kody the simple fact that he's playing well and that he belongs with the caliber of players he's sharing the field with can go such a long way in his development.

With bat speed and opposite field power like that, it's no wonder that the Tigers are excited for the future of their organization with Clemens. With his father by his side supporting his every step, the sky is the limit for the newest Clemens to possibly join the fraternity of MLB players.
