In a battle between a legend and his idol. Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez proved he still has plenty to give. Come the ninth round of this super flyweight bout, the man they call Chocolatito put Kal Yafail on his back with a left-right hand combo, as the latter let his guard down at the worst possible moment.

Once being knocked down, Yafai attempted to get to his feet, but it was all for not thanks to the ref's official stoppage.

After the fight, Yafai and Gonzalez embraced, as the 32-year-old now becomes the new WBC Super Flyweight Champion.
