VIDEO: Royals Broadcasting Legend Rex Hudler Shows off His Hand-Washing Skills With His Son
By Adam Weinrib

Though he'd much rather be exclaiming, "Waiter...check please!" from the KC broadcast booth this week, Rex Hudler, aka The Wonder Dog, knows exactly where his responsibility lies this week. As a public figure, Hudler is joining the fight Salvador Perez started, making sure Royals fans know exactly how to properly wash their hands to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Hudler's oldest son Cade joined him for this adorable clip, which should also serve its intended purpose -- keep your eyes on the prize, Kansas City!
Thanks @StevePhysioc for nominating me to do Salvy’s #StepUpToTheSink challenge!

Our family has been practicing safe hand washing & my oldest son Cade couldn’t wait to show off his skills!
I challenge @SportsRadio810 @Brett_Phillips8 @TobyKCR & @nlbmprez pic.twitter.com/cQjbXsBMwM
The sooner you comply with Hudler's wishes, the sooner we can get baseball back!
Fans turn to voices of reason during trying times like these, and Hudler's dulcet tones definitely qualify. And shoutout to Cade for being an incredible assistant, too -- and rocking a very fashionable crown in the process.
The Royals congratulated the Hudlers on a job well done, and amplified their message to the Kansas City public.
Per usual, no one does it better than the Hudlers. ?#StepUpToTheSink https://t.co/afTgilvKo5

Wash those hands, Kansas City! Heed the warnings. We'll beat this together -- apart.
