How to Live Stream the Game
First pitch from Fenway Park will take place at 7:10 p.m. ET. The game will air on NESN, Fox Sports Kansas City and FuboTV. Live streams can also be found on the MLB Streams subreddit.
Royals Lineup
Whit Merrifield, who is second in the AL with 143 hits, will lead things off for the Royals. Jorge Soler bats fourth and has a renewed approach during the second half. Through 23 games, he's hitting .291 with 6 home runs and 16 walks already, compared to the 28 he had in the team's first 91 games.
Jakob Junis takes the ball for the Royals with his 6-10 record and 5.03 ERA this season. The Red Sox hit him around earlier in the year, scoring six runs in 4.2 innings.
Red Sox Lineup
The AL hits leader Rafael Devers bats second today after Mookie Betts, who leads the AL in runs scored. Andrew Benintendi will bat fourth and has been hot in the second half, hitting .323 with five home runs.
Andrew Casher, who is 10-6 with a 4.44 ERA on the season, will take the mound for the Sox tonight. Through four starts with his new team, however, he's 1-3 with a 6.94 ERA. In 22.1 innings at Fenway Park in 2019, Cashner has a 6.85 ERA, so the Royals will be looking to take advantage of that.
