Rudy Gobert Claps Back at NBA Twitter Losers Trolling Joel Embiid for Crying
By Max Scoli

Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert has had just about enough of all the Twitter trolls. The 7-foot-2 frenchman quickly responded to a Joel Embiid hater who was calling out the All-Star for crying after a Game 7 loss to the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Eastern Conference semifinals.
He had his fellow big man's back.
Only losers think that crying is a sign of weakness... only shows how much of a competitor and winner you are! https://t.co/WqnFxNqduA

It's hard to disagree with Gobert on this one. Anybody who has ever played a sport knows how personally involved you can become to the point where winning and losing feels like the biggest triumph or the biggest failure ever. This can evoke raw emotion like you can see here from Embiid after his Sixers lost on buzzer-beater.

It's interesting that it was the former NBA Defensive Player of the Year who came to the defense of Embiid considering the beef the two big men share. In the past, Embiid has made comments about Gobert's defensive prowess, stating the he was more deserving of the DPOY Award in 2018.
Joel Embiid (23 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 blocks) on facing Jazz big man Rudy Gobert: "Oh, I love playing against guys like him. Defensive Player of the Year, I guess." -- He made air quotes when he mentioned the award Gobert won. -- "I should have gotten that title."

It seems as though Gobert is showing that he is the bigger man, both literally and figuratively speaking, once and for all.
