A clip went viral during the Houston Rockets' season-opening clash versus the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night which showed James Harden and Russell Westbrook arguing near the sidelines during a timeout.

The footage served as early vindication for all of the basketball pundits out there who predicted that the Harden-Brodie pairing wouldn't work simply because both players are just so ball dominant.

While that shouldn't at all be considered a hot take, we are here to tell you that this argument will actually prove to be a positive for the Rockets success down the road.

Folks, just picture how much worse things would (and could) be if the two superstars weren't actually going at it. We can almost picture Russ reverting back to his old passive-aggressive self and refusing to hash it out with his new teammate. That would only lead to more turmoil on the hardwood and inside Houston's locker room.

Minor altercations materializing mid-game might just be what the Rockets need to sustain success throughout the season because we all know how much Harden and Westbrook are going to butt heads on particular plays.

This exchange shouldn't be looked as anything more than growing pains. Like we said, these are two of the most ball-dominant guards in the NBA.

Did anybody really think that offseason camp and a few glorified scrimmages that we call a preseason would be enough for Westbrook and Harden to figure things out?

We sure hope not.

The Rockets are in good hands, folks, and this sideline dispute is a testament to that conception.
