VIDEO: Russell Westbrook Comes Back to OKC Wearing Perfect T-Shirt for Game vs Thunder
By Brendan Balsamo
As Russell Westbrook and the Houston Rockets sit in third place in the Western Conference, there is no doubt he looks down at the Oklahoma City Thunder, his former team, in seventh place, being content with his life choices.
After being traded from the Thunder in July, Russell Westbrook has been putting up 24.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 7.0 assists-per-game down in Houston with the Rockets. In tandem with one of the best shooters in the game, James Harden, the Rockets have one of the scariest one-two punches in the NBA.
As a part of the Thunder for 11 seasons, Westbrook put up 23.0 points-per-game along with 7.4 assists and 8.0 rebounds. Although he couldn't bring a championship to Oklahoma City, he was a top player there for over a decade and is now a legend to the fans.
Westbrook's return should be fun for basketball fans, and the shirt he wore walking into the arena for his return shows that he doesn't regret any of his time spent as part of the Thunder.
