Russell Wilson dealing with a minor injury at Steelers training camp

This isn't what Pittsburgh Steelers fans were hoping to see early on in training camp, but luckily, this isn't too serious. On Thursday, plenty of eyebrows were raised when it was announced that Russell Wilson would be held out of practice.
Mike Tomlin let everyone know that the veteran quarterback is dealing with a calf issue, but it's a minor one. Wilson is considered day-to-day. Until he returns, Justin Fields will be running the offense:
#Steelers coach Mike Tomlin told reporters that QB Russell Wilson is dealing with a calf issue that he woke up with and he’s considered day-to-day. Justin Fields took the first-team reps.

While we wait for Wilson to get back to full health, Fields looked quite impressive throwing the ball around during practice. Could there end up being a QB controversy for the AFC North side this summer? That could end up being the case.
Wilson was signed to a cheap deal earlier this offseason to run the show for Tomlin and Co. However, it sure looks like Fields is going to have something to say about that before Week 1 arrives.
