Russell Wilson is thrilled for Jamal Adams' new deal

The massive news from the NFL this week has no question been the Seattle Seahawks agreeing to a monster extension with Jamal Adams. Earlier this week, the news broke that Adams has signed a four-year extension worth $70 million.

Of that total, $38 million is guaranteed. Seahawks fans went nuts over the move that makes Adams the highest-paid safety. Russell Wilson also couldn't be happier.

Wilson knows how important Adams is for the defense. Now that they finalized things with the defensive back, the Seahawks will now hope to get everything squared away with Duane Brown. Let's see if they make it happen.
