Russell Wilson's Lack of Success at Lambeau Field Doesn't Bode Well for Seahawks
Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks picked up a road win last weekend in Philadelphia, but things will only get tougher from here on out.
The Seahawks head to Green Bay to take on a Packers team fresh off a first round bye week. Yet, there is another challenge in place. Wilson has never had much success at Lambeau Field, a trend he'll be looking to reverse on Sunday.
In three career games at Lambeau Field, Wilson is 0-3 with a 57.6 completion percentage, three touchdowns and six interceptions, numbers very unlike the ones Seahawks fans are accustomed to seeing out of the 31-year-old.
One may quickly jump to blame the weather for Wilson's rough results in Green Bay. He did, however, spend a season with the Wisconsin Badgers, where he fared just fine.
Wilson's worst outing in Green Bay came back in 2016 when he had one of his worst games ever, throwing five interceptions against the Packers defense in a blowout loss.
There should not be any sort of mental block for a veteran quarterback like Wilson. But everything can change if he makes an early mistake and his struggles in Green Bay get into his head.
