Drew Brees' Reps Reportedly Put Feelers Out on Broadcasting Opportunities During Super Bowl Week

The New Orleans Saints are still unsure if Drew Brees will come back for another season.
For now, he's taking time to decide on his future and it has become clear he could have a job in broadcasting if and when he wants one. His representatives are reportedly gauging such interest during Super Bowl week.
One nugget from SB week: Reps of Drew Brees have had exploratory talks with network TV execs to gauge interest in a future broadcasting career. Strictly fact-finding at this point, but the interest appears to be genuine. If/when Brees tries the booth, he will be a hot commodity.

The good news for Saints fans is that the exploration of the opportunity was "strictly fact-finding," so it's not like he's in active talks with any networks.
Brees is 41 years old and the fact he did not immediately commit to a return indicates he has had more than a few thoughts about retiring and pursuing another career. He'd certainly provide invaluable insight as a member of any broadcasting booth.

Tony Romo's success at CBS is a formula other networks, like FOX or ESPN, could be looking to copy by bringing in Brees.
If he does choose to retire, it's hard to imagine the future Hall of Famer not having his pick of where he wants to work.
