Saints Have Perfect Response to Pope's Tweet After Big Win Over Jaguars
By Michael Luciano
The New Orleans Saints have miraculously won four straight games with Drew Brees on the mend and Teddy Bridgewater leading the charge. Their lucky run continued against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, as the defense clamped down on Gardner Minshew in a 13-6 win.
The Saints were predestined to come home on top in this one, as Pope Francis put out a tweet this morning that mistakenly included the Saints team hashtag. The New Orleans Twitter account finally replied to His Holiness, as they knew they couldn't lose after the Pope shouted them out.
The Saints certainly seem like a team that is getting a boost from the man upstairs, as the once porous defense has finally figured out how to play as a unit once again, while Bridgewater has kept the offense humming along without missing a beat.
Keep in mind, most figured the Saints would be dead in the water without Brees behind center.
If the Saints keep winning without Brees, maybe Sean Payton will end up canonized.
