Saints Star Michael Thomas Joins Exclusive '99 Club' in Madden 20
By Michael Luciano
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas has been without question the best wide receiver in the league this year, and his video game equivalent is finally getting the respect it deserves.
Thomas became another member of the prestigious 99 Club in Madden 20, becoming one of only two wide receivers to be given the game's highest rating.
In total, seven players, including Thomas, have been rated 99 at one point during the season, with Aaron Donald, Patrick Mahomes, DeAndre Hopkins and Christian McCaffrey the other players with a perfect rating.
Thomas might be having the best season out of all of them. The best player on a Saints team that is currently in position to get home-field advantage in the NFC, Thomas broke Marvin Harrison's record for catches in a single season. With 145 catches for a league-best 1,688 yards and nine touchdowns, Thomas could have the best MVP case of any non-quarterback in the league.
Thomas' Twitter handle is @cantguardmike. Over his entire NFL career, he's proven that boast to be 100 percent true, as he isn't even done with his record-breaking escapades this season.
